Intensive Care Nurse New

Location: Dublin, GA

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekend Rotation Required

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical care to a diverse patient population in a dynamic, high-acuity environment. As a vital member of our healthcare team, the ICU RN will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care to ICU patients with complex medical conditions
• Perform thorough assessments and continuous monitoring of patients’ conditions
• Administer medications and manage advanced life support equipment as necessary
• Coordinate patient care with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Develop individualized care plans and participate in discharge planning
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in electronic health records
• Uphold patient safety and adhere to clinical and ethical standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff development

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of Georgia or compact state eligibility
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification (required within 6 months of hire)
• Prior acute care or critical care experience strongly preferred
• Professional certification in critical care nursing (CCRN) is a plus
