Job Summary: 

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Outpatient Sleep Clinic is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with sleep disorders. This role involves conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Perform thorough assessments of patients' sleep patterns, medical histories, and symptoms.
• Treatment Implementation: Administer prescribed treatments, including CPAP therapy, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about sleep disorders, treatment options, and strategies for improving sleep hygiene.
• Monitoring: Monitor patients' progress and response to treatments, making adjustments as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with sleep specialists, physicians, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and clinic services.
• Support: Provide emotional support and counseling to patients dealing with sleep disorders.
